AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION
If your organization or group is looking at getting some courses on agriculture or youth leadership, the society can provide some resources to you or redirect you to other organizations that can provide these services.

Zoël Côté BURSARY
The Zoël Côté bursary is awarded by the Smoky River Agricultural Society every year at the Annual General Meeting.
This $ 500.00 bursary is awarded to a sucessful student who is attending or accepted into an Alberta agricultural program of 2 years duration or longer.

ALBERT FONTAINE BEAUTIFUL YARD AWARD
The Albert Fontaine Beautiful Yard Award for farm yards and acreage yards will be revitalized and awarded every year at the annual general meeting in the future.
Award is sponsored by the United Farmers of Alberta CO-OP LTD, the Municipal District of Smoky River # 130 and the Smoky River Agricultural Society.
Farm yard or acreage yard must be located within the boundaries of the Municipal District of Smoky River # 130.

GYMKHANA
Gymkhana activities are on going on the fairgrounds.
Boarders are riding almost everyday and gymkhana fun activities are scheduled weekly.
Major gymkhana competitions may be scheduled during the summer for all the avid western riders. Check out our calendar.
